I thought to alert you to a new book I have coming out, Hitler's Holy Relics, from Simon and Schuster -- the true story of U.C. Berkeley art history professor Walter Horn's World War II investigation of Nazi plunder and the race to recover the Crown Jewels of the Holy Roman Empire (which include, as you know, the Holy Lance or Spear of Destiny. It's quite a remarkable true story, and provides a unique POV about Nazi mysticism and veneration of holy relics.
