We must return to our senses on abortion issue (abortion)
So Obama insinuates that this 'mistake' (sweet innocent BABY with a SOUL & feelings) should be either poisoned or ripped apart with steel scalpels. That would help his daughters get a better job, a better apartment, a better career. That is the liberal DEMOCRAT message folks. GOD doesn't buy it. Neither do I.
On September 11th, 2001, Islamic terrorists killed 3000 innocent people who were peaceably trying to live their lives. On that same day, 3500 sweet babies just like little Samuel died from abortion in America. This, all at a time when there are lines of people, all waiting to adopt these holy innocents. Every day, over 3500 babies are murdered by abortion in the United States. That's over 1.2 million abortions every year.
Fitzgerald: We must return to our senses on abortion issue
Joe Fitzgerald Monday, January 30, 2017
They say putting a face on a story makes it easier to relate to, but that’s not possible if you’re talking about abortion because millions of unborn babies never get to see the light of day.
That’s the whole idea of latching on to a disingenuous term such as “pro-choice.” It sounds so democratic that you almost don’t realize the choice being considered is whether an emerging life can be tossed out like trash if its arrival would be inconvenient for those who have no desire to be parents.
Deemed disposable, that life is then labeled a fetus, a nonjudgmental word intended to make guilt evaporate. Japanese soldiers used a similar ploy while barbarically torturing captured GIs in World War II, referring to their victims as logs.
A log does not suggest humanity, neither does a fetus.
It brings to mind TV’s fictional J.R. Ewing, the “Dallas” scoundrel who reasoned that once you get past conscience the rest is easy.
Every so often, however, common decency is jarred by common sense, such as cases we’ve seen here in which the fatal shooting of a pregnant woman results in two charges of homicide. The first is readily understood. But the second? Are we now to believe the fetus was really a baby after all?
It’s one thing to offend our sensibilities and another to insult our intelligence, which the pro-abortion crowd has been doing with impunity since 1973, when Roe v. Wade legalized this wanton slaughter of the unborn.
It’s still hard to believe the law of the land finds unwanted lives expendable.
But now Donald Trump is in a position to fill a Supreme Court vacancy as well as to review the federal funding of abortion mills run by Planned Parenthood.
