Francis's comments "'Empirical Fact' That Many Clergy Are Gay" (homosexuality)

Zed’s response in (bold) with parentheses.

Fezik you keep original text.

There is so much misrepresentation in your post, I do believe it was unintentional (other than not taking the time to read the pastoral letters before responding) (What? Did you expect me to read all those pastoral letters from Luther, Clement, Wesley etc.) but I have a family and work... I just don't have that kind of time. What is most important to you from your post?

I will give a short response to two points, as I have a short break and am typing on my phone. In some instances, all were priests... just as all Israelites were "priests" in Exodus 19:16. Aside from the people, you had the High Priest, AND ministerial priests (ie. Nahab, Abihu.. cf. The pastoral letters). (What’s this? More! Do you think I don’t have a family and work responsibilities etc? Off course I didn’t read them, these men don’t hold ALL THE TRUTH. I have told you before, truth is found in scripture and nothing but! That has all ways been my position. John 17; 17 says "Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth.”Nothing more and nothing less. ) God designed the Old Testament to explain the New. (The new covenant, in contrast to the old, is not concerned with a particular nation, nor is it concerned with any nation as a whole. Rather it is concerned with individuals, regardless of their nation. It does not demand obedience to a set of laws, but puts God’s laws in people’s hearts. It does not need priests to mediate between God and individuals, for all believers know God personally and have direct fellowship with him. There is no remembrance of sins through repetitive sacrifices, for all sins are at once removed and are gone forever. (Hebrews 8:10-13. 10 “for this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel
after those days, says the lord:
I will put my laws into their minds,
and I will write them on their hearts.
And I will be their god,
and they shall be my people.
12“for I will be merciful to their iniquities,
and I will remember their sins no more.”
13When He said, “A new covenant,” He has made the first obsolete. But whatever is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to disappear”.)

I would hope that you reread the portion of 1 Cor 10. (Pe-leezze)

I don't want you to think that I am going to blow off all of the thoughts you gathered, but I can only do this a bit at a time. (Take your time; blow them off a bit at a time would suit me as well.)

You have misunderstood me..(NO, that was you, that was teaching “all interpretation comes to each of us directly from God”) and I thought that you were teaching that all interpretation comes to each of us directly from God. (Go back through the thread; show me where I said “ALL interpretation comes to each of us directly from God”. You will see that it was your position and you tried to make it mine! No thanks!) For example, 1 Timothy 3:15 refers to the Church as the pillar of truth... wouldn't that mean to you that each member of the congregation embodies all truth?
(Defiantly not! You’re being reckless again! What is truth? John 17; 17 says "Sanctify them in the truth; YOUR WORD IS TRUTH.” Now we know what truth is, 1 Timothy 3:15 (b) “household of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and support of the truth” Notice that? The congregation is the pillar AND SUPPORT of God’s Word”. Why did you omit those two words changing the outcome of Gods truth into a lie? Why are you so bent on being counterproductive to God? Do you not fear Him? And you’re trying to get me to agree with you again. No thanks! Why do I get the feeling that I’m being setup! )
I can't understand your position, I guess... and you clearly don't understand mine. I don't understand references to pastors in your terms.. pastors have sheep, they have flocks. (No, I think you understood from the next question you asked). How do you know whether you're the sheep or the pastor? (Why do you ask, are you doubting the teaching authority of your bishops and priest! If so, why don’t you do as I do. Search the Epistles, all the truthful answers are found within, just don’t add or subtract, read in context, and whatever you do don’t read in-between the lines as you are a real shocker for that.)
Fezik >”What is most important to you from your post?” (To let you know that time is running short. Eternity is a very very long time. Think of your family, you have the chance to break that generational enslavement over you and your family. Choose life! Choose His Truth rather than OT physical, religious church. Jesus is knocking on the door of your heart He wants to shower you with His love overflowing to your kids... your family. Open your door and let Him dine with you.)
