by Fr. Cedric Pisegna, C.P.
Wasn't it you that sent me this book many months ago? I've finally read it and found it to be an excellent book, among my favorites now.
FROM THE BACK COVER:
This is an extraordinary book highlighting Father Cedric's two near-death experiences in 1977. During these experiences he was shown truths that changed his life and would eventually lead to his becoming a Catholic priest. In explicit detail, Fr. Cedric shares what happened to him. It is reading that will touch your heart and spark your imagination.
This book will address the two most basic questions every human has: "What happens when we die?" and "Is there a God or not?" The truths shared in this book will inspire you and help you.

The above book is filled with 'Gospel Truths'. There is one which I hope to begin a discussion on in the next Thread I post. It gets to the matter that Christians have complete freedom from the Old Testament Laws because of our Faith and Trust in the Lord Jesus Christ. Even though the 10 Commandments are written in a Christian's heart we as Christians are in no way under the Laws of Moses. For instance, Moses himself said twice that the Saturday Sabbath was given to the nation of Israel. Saturday Sabbath is not what the earliest Christians followed, nor do we need to follow it.
On Pages 98 and 99 of Father Cedric's above book he wrote.
"I believe that mature followers of Jesus are those who genuinely like and care for others and follow a well-formed conscience. They do the right thing even when the wrong thing is happening to them. They do the right thing because it is right even though there seems to be no immediate reward or pleasure. They do the right thing even when no one is watching. Integrity is forged behind closed doors as well as in the open.
St. Paul the Apostle wrote a stirring letter to the churches of Galatia. His letter had to do with the freedom from the laws of Moses and liberty in Christ. He talked a lot about how Jesus had come to make us right with God through faith. "For Freedom Christ has set us free." (Gal. 5:1) The law, rules and regulations no longer bind us. Our faith in Jesus justifies us. Included in chapter 5 of this liberating letter is a little known but crucial verse, "For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision or uncircumcision is of any avail, but faith made effective through love." (Gal. 5:6)"
