Re: good deeds (general)

You said that being offended is rooted in pride... I'm not talking about being offended for ourselves. I am talking about being offended for God's sake. In Matthew 16:23, Peter was an "offense" to Christ... though pride is thought as one of the seven cardinal sins and Christ is sin free. He was an offense, "because [he] was not thinking about God's concerns, but mans". Matthew 5:29 says that we shouldn't even offend ourselves... the next verse describes that we need to remove that offense to avoid hell! I think that it's prideful to not be offended for God.

But since you're not offended and I am... I think that means that you have to conform to my beliefs:

Romans 14:21 It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor any thing whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak.

=P I will also see you at Church on Sunday? Teehee...

I asked The Lord how much He loved me

He stretched out His arms and said, "this much"

Then He died for me
