Why is Doctrine & Theology Important? (general)

posted by Steve1981(R), Australia, 06.28.2010

You haven't answered my questions.

If you are speaking in truth and believe a "sound doctrine" then it should not be difficult for you to provide me with a direct answer.

Who, according to what you believe and have been taught, is not saved? Who of which particular denominations are not saved?

"Did you forget that Jesus warned about the Wolves in Sheeps Clothing, and the weeds and the tars? And Paul warned about people who preaches a different Jesus other than the Jesus Paul taught."

I'm quite aware of that, but I'm also aware that not all those who call upon the name of the Lord will be saved:

"Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father in heaven." - Matthew 7:21

I'm also aware that our Lord will judge each man's work impartially (1 Peter 1:17) and that nothing unclean will enter the kingdom of Heaven (Revelation 21:27). But does this pertain to an entire denomination or a particular denomination as you earlier suggested?

Again, by what authority to you make this assertion?
