Obama to skip Arlington Ceremony

Were you disappointed to learn that President Obama is going to miss the traditional Memorial Day ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery? Instead of paying tribute to the men and women who sacrificed their lives for our country, he is spending a long weekend in Chicago.

Yes, I know he is going to make remarks at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, but it is not the same thing as laying the wreath at the tomb of the unknown soldier. We are fighting two wars and our President does not want to interrupt his weekend at home.
